PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an obstacle surely and promptly by avoiding interruption of smooth upward movement caused by mutual abutment of end faces of divide obstacle-detecting pieces. SOLUTION: An obstacle detecting member includes a plurality of divide obstacle-detecting pieces. Projections projecting in the width direction of a shutter curtain are respectively formed on both ends of each of the obstacle detecting pieces. At least in the obstacle non-detecting state where each of the obstacle detecting pieces is not in contact with the obstacle, the obstacle detecting pieces are arranged in a substantially straight line with the projections in contact with each other.
