PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave receiver for adjusting a resonance frequency of an antenna to be close to the frequency of a desired wave by using an oscillation signal to be generated in an antenna and a tuning circuit even when an interval for the adjustment of the tuning circuit is not fine. SOLUTION: The radio wave receiver includes: an antenna (10); a tuning means (11) for discretely changing the frequency characteristic of the antenna (10); an oscillating means (16) for oscillating the antenna (10) and the circuit part of the tuning means (11); reception processing means (13-15) for extracting the signal of the desired wave among the reception signals and performing signal processing; a control means (20) for changing the setting of the tuning means (11), while generating the oscillation signal, and determining the setting state of the tuning means (11), where the oscillation signal is extracted by the reception processing means (13-15); and compensating means (21, 22) for changing the frequency characteristic of the oscillation signal or the frequency characteristic for signal extraction by the reception processing means.
