PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor improving compression efficiency without causing complicating a construction and without increasing a processing man-hour and a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The compressor 12a includes a compressor housing 14a having an inlet 22 of air and an outlet 24 of compressed air, and an impeller 16 received and arranged in the compressor housing 14a rotatably about a rotation axis X. The inner wall surface 15a of the compressor housing 14a is formed to smoothly swell so that a clearance 42 between the inner wall surface 15a of the compressor housing 14a and an edge 19 in a radial direction of a blade 18 of the impeller 16 opposed to the inner wall surface 15a becomes minimum at a middle position between an end area on an air inlet 22 side and an end area on an air outlet 24 side in the edge 19 in the radial direction of the blade 18.
