PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharging device and an image forming device, while preventing the occurrence of defective discharging of paper, suppressing curling of the paper on both ends thereof in the width direction of the paper which is discharged into a paper discharging tray via a paper pressing member. SOLUTION: The image forming device includes at least the paper discharging tray, a shifter 10 and the paper pressing member 14. The paper pressing member 14 is swingably supported on the shifter 10 and held in contact with the paper discharged to the paper discharging tray for suppressing curling of the paper on both ends thereof in the width direction of the paper. The paper pressing member 14 includes sheet supporting sections 144 and paper pressing sheets 142. Two paper pressing sheets 142 are attached to the sheet supporting section 144. The paper pressing sheets 142 are located on an engaging portion at both sides thereof, respectively. The paper pressing sheets 142 have cutout portions formed in central portions along the width direction, respectively, at end portions held in contact with the paper discharged to the paper discharging tray.
