PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket for a resin-made belt chain which is capable of reducing the machining cost, used for both a square shaft and a round shaft, and reducing the clearance between the shaft and a shaft hole. SOLUTION: In the sprocket for the resin-made belt chain having a shaft hole in which both a round shaft and a square shaft can be inserted, the shaft hole includes a center on the diagonals of a square, and also includes a contour shaped by four circles including corners of the square in the circumference, two circles adjacent to each other out of the four circles, and a circle circumscribed with a mid-point of each ridge of the square.
