PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding storage device allowing a storage operation reduced in a load on a workman when storing a heavy article such as a motorcycle. SOLUTION: The sliding storage device includes fixing rails 21 and 22 extending in an advancing direction of the heavy article to be stored, tiltable rails 23 and 24 which are connected to the end portions of the fixing rails 21 and 22 on an inlet/outlet side, become in an erected state or a tilted state in which distal end portions are tilted to the inlet/outlet side, and are connected to the fixing rails 21 and 22 in the tilted state, an article holding portion slidable in the approaching direction by being guided by the tiltable rails 23 and 24 and the fixing rails 21 and 22, and holding the heavy article, and a guide bar 15 extending along the advancing direction of the heavy article. The article holding portion has a tensile spring 16 with one end engaged with the front end of the article holding portion, and the other end connected movably along the guide bar 15. A predetermined urging force acts on the tensile spring 16 when the article holding portion is at the position of the tiltable rails 23 and 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
