<p>The invention relates to a clutch, brake, torque limiter and mechanical locking device (10), comprising a body (11) consisting of a first housing element (11a) and a second housing element (11b). The first housing element (11a) has a hollow cylindrical shape, arranged so as to contain a central core (12) with a circular cross-section, which is rigidly connected to an engine shaft (13) and housed in an inner cavity of the first housing element (11a), the central core (12) supporting a set of sliding members (14) housed in a bore (15) provided in the central core (12). The second housing element (11b) has a hollow cylindrical shape, arranged so as to contain a central unit (16), which is axially movable inside a coaxial cavity (17) provided in the second housing element (11b). The central block (16) comprises a set of recesses (21) positioned opposite the set of sliding members (14) and arranged to engage therewith. Spring means (18) are arranged so as to urge the central core (12) of the first housing element (11a) toward the central block (16) of the second housing element (11b), so as to move the set of sliding members (14) at least partially into the set of recesses (21).</p> |
