PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress inconvenience by removal of a filter at low cost. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 for the vehicle includes a casing 6 having an air flow passage S in which air-conditioning air flows; the filter 40 arranged on the air flow passage S in the casing 6 and filtering the air-conditioning air; and a damper 20 for opening/closing the air flow passage S. On the casing 6, a support plate part 33 for supporting a peripheral edge part of the filter 40 is provided. On the damper 20, a closure plate part 21 for closing the air flow passage S and a turning shaft 24 for turning the closure plate part 21 are provided. The turning shaft 24 is arranged at an air bottom of the filter 40 supported on the support plate part 33 and is formed so as to support the filter 40 deformed to the air bottom side.
