<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly decide the propriety of flash lighting in photographing even if an LED is used as auxiliary light in AF control and as a flash in photographing. <P>SOLUTION: An AF controller 105 controls an AF driver 106 so as to perform automatic focus control, an AE controller 104 performs automatic exposure control, and then the LED 108 is used as the auxiliary light in automatic focus control by the AF controller 105 and as the flash in photographing.
