ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR OPTICAL FILM, ADHESIVE LAYER FOR OPTICAL FILM, ADHESIVE OPTICAL FILM, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for an optical film forming an adhesive layer that satisfies rework property allowing easy removal of the optical film from a liquid crystal panel or the like without leaving adhesive deposit and durability causing no detachment or partial removal when the optical film is in the stuck state and that improves display unevenness due to white voids in a peripheral part.

SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for an optical film contains: a (meth)acrylic polymer (A) containing an alkyl(meth)acrylate and a polymerizable aromatic ring-containing monomer as monomer units; and a polyether compound (B) having a polyether skeleton and also having a reactive silyl group represented by general formula (1):-SiRaM3-a(wherein R is a 1-20C monovalent organic group which may have a substituent; M is a hydroxyl group or a hydrolyzable group; and a is an integer of 1 to 3, wherein when multiple Rs are present, the multiple Rs may be the same as or different from each other, and when multiple Ms are present, the multiple Ms may be the same as or different from each other) at least on one end.
