PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric apparatus capable of preventing a tip edge of an insulating sheet from getting hooked to a cover case, and to provide a lighting fixture equipped with the electric apparatus. SOLUTION: The electric apparatus 1 is provided with a metallic base case 2 having a bottom face part 2a and a pair of side face parts 2b, 2b, an insulating sheet 3 arranged along an inner face of the base case 2 with its either end part 3a, 3b protruded further upward than the pair of side face parts 2b, 2b, a circuit board 4 arranged at a bottom face part 2a side of the base case 2 through the insulating sheet 3, and a metallic cover case 5 insertion-fitted into the base case 2 equipped with rib parts 16 fitted at an interface part 15 each of a top plate 5a and side plates 5c and formed in protrusion inward so as to be in partial contact with at least either tip edge 3aa, 3bb of both the end parts 3a, 3b of the insulating sheet 3.
