PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt sleeve vulcanizer which can preheat a rubber jacket by a simple construction and a method of vulcanizing the belt sleeve. SOLUTION: The belt sleeve vulcanizer 1 includes a mold 2 around which an unvulcanized belt sleeve 20 is wound, the rubber jacket 4 arranged outside of the mold 2, a cylindrical casing 5 arranged outside of the rubber jacket 4, a pressure medium supply part 8 and a decompression part 9. The cylindrical casing 5 includes a heating part 7 for heating the rubber jacket 4, arranged on the inner circumferential surface of the casing 5. The pressure medium supply part 8 is connected with a space 6 between the rubber jacket 4 and the cylindrical casing 5 and operates to press the rubber jacket 4 to the belt sleeve 20 by introducing a pressure medium into the space 6. The decompression part 9 is connected with the space 6 and operates to bring the rubber jacket 4 into contact with the heating part 7 by decompressing the space 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
