SILICA PARTICLE AND RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin mixture filled with silica particles as a filler, the mixture having high fluidity even when a filling rate of the filler is increased, and to provide silica particles as a filler. SOLUTION: The silica particles contain not less than 90 mass% of silica particles (X) having particle diameters ranging from 500 nm to 75μm and 0.5 to 10 mass% of silica ultrafine particles (Y) in which the particle size distribution shows a max in the range from 50 nm to 300 nm particle diameter and 95 mass% or more of the ultrafine particles belong to the range of particle diameters from 30 nm to 500 nm.
