PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of bare which is apt to occur on an outer surface of a tire. SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 has vent lines 9 on the tire outer surface of the region inside in the tire radial direction from a maximum width position m of the tire. The vent lines 9 include a first vent line 9A extending in the tire circumferential direction and a second vent line 9B extending similarly, being separated outside in the tire radial direction from the first vent lines. A serration 11, on which spaced ribs 10 extending over the first and second vent lines are provided in the tire circumferential direction, is formed between the first vent line 9A and the second vent line 9B. The deepest parts 11u of the serration is located at the same level as or the outside of a virtual tire outer surface 3g excluding the vent lines 9, while the shallowest parts 11h of the serration are located at the inside of the tire from the ridge 9h of each vent line.
