PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal particulate generator for appropriately controlling ions generated by applying voltage to an electrode. SOLUTION: A metal particulate generator K has a first electrode 1 to which voltage is applied, and a second electrode 2 connected to a ground and paired with the first electrode 1, and releases a particulated metal from the first electrode 1 by discharging between the first electrode 1 and second electrode 2. The metal particulate generator K is provided with an ion adsorption part 3 for trapping a part of the ions generated near the first electrode 1 by applying voltage to the first electrode 1.
