PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a planar body by which the occurrence of groove plugging in the planar body is suppressed to improve quality and productivity; to provide a method for producing a combustion tube; to provide a gas turbine combustor; and to provide a gas turbine. SOLUTION: The production method includes: a stage where grooves 61 are formed on either side in one plate 41; a stage where filling parts 71 are arranged at the inside of the grooves 61; a stage where a joining material 81 is arranged between either side in one plate 41 and the other plate 42, and the joining material 81 is melted, thus one plate 41 and the other plate 42 are joined so as to be a planar body 33U having a flow passage; and a stage where the filling parts 71 are removed from the grooves 61.
