PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of saving a board storage space by improving efficiency at mounting a board. SOLUTION: The refrigerator having a heat insulating material 6 between an outer box 11 and an inner box 10 has a refrigerator top face 16 retracted to a heat insulating material 6 side from a top face of the outer box 11, a retracted-section plane face 13 retracted to a heat insulating material 6 side with respect to the refrigerator top face 16, and a retracted section 12 having a connecting face 14 connecting the refrigerator top face 16 and the retracted-section plane face 13, a control board obtained by combining a rigid board 8 not having flexibility, and a flexible board 9 having flexibility is disposed on the retracted section 12, a highest mount component is mounted on the rigid board 8, the rigid board 8 is disposed on the retracted-section plane face 13, the flexible board 9 is disposed on the connecting face 14, and a vacuum heat insulating material 5 having a shape along the refrigerator top face 16, the retracted-section plane face 13 and the connecting face 14 is disposed.
