PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas injection device which can be further improved in the lifetime. SOLUTION: The gas injection device includes a bottomed cylindrical cylinder 10; a valve seat surface 26 having a discharge port 27 of fuel gas; the valve seat surface corresponding to an inside bottom surface of the cylinder; and a valve element 24, provided in the internal space of the cylinder 10. The cylinder 10 and the valve element 24 are formed, in such a manner that fuel gas can flow along a gap between the outer circumferential surface of the valve element 24 and the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder 10. The cylinder 10 has a shape, such that the reentrant angle in the periphery of the valve element 24 within the internal space exceeds 90°. As a result, stagnation of fuel gas is hardly caused, and the lifetime of the gas injection device is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
