PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device capable of obtaining high efficiency of luminescence and improved driving durability. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device includes at least one organic layer containing a light-emitting layer between an anode and a cathode. The light-emitting layer contains a host material and a specific iridium-based phosphorescent luminous material.
