PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition which has moderate polishing property and high cleaning property and shows both, during its use, excellent toothbrushing feeling (brushing sense) and absence of stimulation to gingiva. SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition includes: (A) a synthesized amorphous aluminum-bonded silicate which contains aluminum, as Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, in a content of 0.5-7.5 mass% of SiO<SB>2</SB>and OH groups in a content of 2.0-3.5 mass% of SiO<SB>2</SB>; and (B) granular zeolite with an average particle size of 150-800 μm and an average collapse strength of 15-100 g/piece. The dentifrice composition is practically harmless to teeth, has moderate polishing property and high cleaning property without damaging teeth, and shows both, during its use, excellent toothbrushing feeling (brushing sense) and absence of stimulation to gingiva.
