PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal 10 which allows the power consumption thereof to be suppressed by causing a second display 34 of low power consumption to display prescribed information when a sliding operation is performed. SOLUTION: The portable terminal 10 includes a first case C1 and a second case C2, and the first case C1 is connected slidably to the second case C2 while the first case C1 is stacked on the second case C2. On the upper surface of the first case C1, a first display 26 is provided. Also, on the upper surface of the second case C2, the second display 34 is provided on a position at which it is not exposed normally (in a closed state) and is exposed when the sliding operation is performed.
