PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fault due to static electricity invading into the device while securing the conduction state of the upper member and the lower member arranged in the upper and lower parts of an operating member. SOLUTION: The multidirectional input device is equipped with: an elastic member 9 which makes an operating member 12 return to an initial position; an elastic member support plate 8 which supports the elastic member 9 from the lower side; an installation member 11 which is installed contacting a ground and is covered on the elastic member 9 from the upper side; and a conduction member 10 which is pinched between the installation member 11 and the elastic member 9 and conducts the installation member 11 and the elastic member support plate 8. With the elastic member 9 and the conduction member 10 pinched between the installation member 11 and the elastic member support plate 8, the installation member 11 is engaged and supported to a case 2 of the device.
