A METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING DATA BY APPLING PRECODING MATRIX IN AN OPEN LOOP MIMO SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for transmitting data by applying a precoding matrix in an open loop MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) system is provided to enable a base station to select a precoding matrix based on a fixed rule. CONSTITUTION: A precoding matrix is selected during initial transmission and applied to data. A precoding matrix is selected and is applied to data to be retransmitted. The data to which the precoding matrix is applied is retransmitted. An index of the precoding matrix applied to the data is determined based on an index of a precoding matrix applied during initial transmission and current retransmission times of the data.
