PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and an IPTV terminal control method for the same for efficiently controlling the IPTV terminal are provided to set up terminal control information as the IPTV terminal control information. CONSTITUTION: A memory(160) stores terminal control information. In case an IPTV terminal is located within the constant distance, a controller(180) searches the terminal control information transmitted the IPTV terminal from the memory. A wireless communications unit(110) transmits the searched terminal information to the IPTV terminal. The transmitted terminal control information is set as the control information of the IPTV terminal.
