<p>PURPOSE: A metal alloy for a wheel for supporting load and a wheel manufacturing method using the same are provided to improve the tensile strength of a heat-treated part and to increasing the quenching depth and flange site. CONSTITUTION: A metal alloy for a wheel for supporting load comprises C 0.55~0.65 weight%, Si 0.2~0.5 weight%, Mn 0.8~1.5 weight%, P 0.04 weight%, S 0.04 weight%, V 0.2~0.4 weight% and Fe 97.17~98.23 weight%. The manufacturing method of the metal alloy for a wheel comprises next steps. Molten metal is made. The fused metal is casted in a wheel size and is separated from a mold. The molded products are temperature-increased and cooled. Carbide is processed under spherical annealing. The molded products is heated for five hours and quenched. The molded products is heated again and cooled with air in order to temper.</p> |
