<p>PURPOSE: A touch signal generator is provided to simplify the touch pad structure thereof and generate and transfer a point designation and movement signal, a scrolling signal, and a jump signal. CONSTITUTION: A touch pad(10) includes: capacitance sensing electrodes(11) which are arranged in vertical and horizontal directions; an X-signal line which connects the capacitance sensing electrodes which are arranged in the same vertical direction; and a Y-signal line which connects the capacitance sensing electrodes which are arranged in the same horizontal direction. A microcomputer(20) calculates x/y coordinate signals by detecting the capacitance variation of the x/y-signal lines and generates point movement information by analyzing the x/y coordinate signals.</p> |
