PURPOSE: A data input/output control circuit and a data input/output method thereof are provided to rapidly input data without comparing the address of a redundancy operation by sequentially transmitting input data by using shift registers which are sequentially arranged. CONSTITUTION: A data input control part(100) receives input data which are sequentially inputted and outputs the data to a register part. A clock control part(200) outputs a control signal according to column fail information. The register part includes a plurality of register groups corresponding to a plurality of memory columns. The register part saves the input data in response to the control signal. A data output control part(300) receives output data which are saved in the register part and outputs the data to an input/output pad.
