<p>The hob (10) has a detection device (14a) for detecting presence of a cookware (26) e.g. pot and pan, on respective cook places (12a-12d). An operating device (16) enters control variables e.g. power level and cooking time, for the cook places. The detection device detects shifting of the cookware from one of the cook places to the other place. A control device (24) controls the cook places according to the control variables during detection of shifting of the cookware from the former cook place to the latter cook place, where the former cook place is controlled before shifting the cookware. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling operation of a cooking hob.</p> |
