Method and wireless device for detecting a movement

The method involves determining quality measures for field strength of a received radio signal based on correlation between receiving frequency and a preset bit sequence i.e. binary sequence, which is stored as reference sequence. The radio signal with the preset bit sequence is transmitted from transmitters (22) with two different transmitting powers in sequence. The transmission sequence of the radio signal is repeated in preset intervals. Quality measures for the transmission sequence are evaluated for detecting movement of a power-saving analog receiver based on the transmitters. An independent claim is also included for a radio device for detecting movement of a power-saving analog receiver.
