<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which avoids the interference between a display unit and a connector body and prevents breakage of the first and the second connectors without any damage to opening and shutting of the display unit. SOLUTION: The portable computer 1 has the main body 2 having a flat box 5a and the display unit 3 supported at the rear edge of the box in a condition of rotating freely from the shutting point covering the upper wall 5a of the box to the opening point exposing the upper wall of the box. The display unit has a side extending to the side 5d of the box when rotated toward the shutting point. The RGB connector 31 for the extended functions is arranged on the side wall of the box. A removable cable connector 45 connected to the RGB connector has the connector body 46 which is thicker than the box. The front edge of the RGB connector which receives the connector body projects sideways over the side of the box.</p> |
