PURPOSE: A method for screening a material for preventing or treating immune diseases or thrombus-associated diseases by soluble CD40 ligand is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening a material for preventing or treating immune diseases or thrombus-associated diseases comprises: a step of contacting a sample to MMP(matrix metalloprotease)-2 or reactant including MMP-2 and glycoprotein IIb/IIa; and a step of determining the material which prevents or treats immune diseases or thrombus-associated diseases by soluble CD40 ligand in case of MMP-2 activation reduction or suppression of binding between MMP-2 and glycoprotein IIb/IIa. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating immune diseases or thrombus-associated diseases by soluble CD40 ligand contains the material as an active ingredient. The active ingredient is nucleotide, chemical, antibody, aptamer, antisense, oligonucleotide, antisense-RNA, siRNA, or natural extract.
