NAPHTHALENE LYOTROPIC LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITON AND MULTILAYER STRUCTURED POLARIZER FILM MANUFACTURED USING THEREOF

摘要

PURPOSE: A naphthalene lyotropic liquid crystal composition is provided to maintain excellent polarization in a long wavelength region, to improve light lost in short wavelength(400-450nm) region, and to realize a multi-layered structure by two times coating process. CONSTITUTION: A naphthalene lyotropic liquid crystal composition comprises 5-60 weight% naphthalenic compound represented by chemical formula 1, 10-90 weight% basic chromonic liquid crystal compound with a basic functional group, and 5-40 weight% acidic monomer with an acidic functional group. The naphthalene lyotropic liquid crystal composition further includes 0.01-10 weight% polymerization initiator containing one of a photoinitiator or thermal initiator.
