PURPOSE: A light emitting element, a light emitting apparatus, an electronic appliance, and an illuminating apparatus are provided to reduce power consumption by suppressing the increase of a driving voltage regardless of the thickness of a layer between the light emitting element and an electrode. CONSTITUTION: An electro-luminescence layer(103) is formed between an anode(101) and a cathode(102). A first layer(106) includes a hole-transporting material and an acceptor type material. A second layer(105) includes a first donor type material and a first electron transporting material. A third layer(104) includes a second donor type material and a second electron transporting material. The lowest unoccupied molecular orbital level of the first electron transporting material is lower than that of the second electron transporting material.
