PURPOSE: An electrode interval controlling apparatus for a plasma sterilizer, and a method thereof are provided to maximize the radiation efficiency of the plasma sterilizer by controlling the interval in real time. CONSTITUTION: An electrode interval controlling apparatus for a plasma sterilizer comprises a flux measurement unit, a controller for transmitting a controlling signal, a position control device for controlling a driver, and the driver. The flux measurement unit measures the flow amount of ballast water. The controller corresponds to the flow amount measured from the flux measurement unit. The position control device controls the driver by the controlling signal.
