PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a broadcasting contents search method for controlling an IPTV terminal in order to perform operation related to specific internet broadcasting contents are provided to search the same internet broadcasting contents as the mobile broadcasting contents. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(110) transmits a search request signal about the selected mobile broadcasting contents to one of an IPTV terminal and an IPTV related server. The wireless communication unit receives a search result about internet broadcasting contents as the selected mobile broadcasting contents according to transmission of the search request signal. An output unit(150) outputs the search result received from the wireless communication unit.
