[Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] An underground tank in which liquefied fuel gas is stored and vaporized by the warmth of the earth, for delivery to consumers' tanks, has a fibrous lining which by capillary action maintains a layer of the liquid in contact with the tank wall above the level of the body of liquid, and so increases the heading effect. The lining may be held in place by wire gauze. Specification 524,901 is referred to.
