Bottom bracket with a crankshaft and a sensor device

The bracket has a sensor device (3) provided with a sensor (7) and a signal transmitter (8), and detecting a rotation angle of a rotatably supported crankshaft. The signal transmitter includes a needle bearing cage (9) fastened to a body of the crankshaft in a torque-proof manner. The sensor is formed as a magnetic sensor i.e. Hall-sensor and reed-sensor, and is magnetically pre-stressed. The bearing cage includes a bar (15) exhibiting a radial distance to an outer lateral surface (12) of the body of the crankshaft. The sensor detects a variable signal during rotation of the crankshaft.
