The method involves changing of one reel (11) to another reel (12). A web end runs between a paper roller (10) and the latter reel. The web is provided with an adhesive which is placed on an area of the web end. The web is coiled on the former reel. A nip runs between the paper roller and the latter reel, where the adhesive is placed at a downwards rotating area of the paper roller. An independent claim is included for a device with two tambours and a pope reeler.
