PURPOSE: A method for preparing sweet pumpkin puffed snack is provided to maintain intrinsic yellow color and flavor of sweet pumpkin and to ensure excellent preference due to crinkling texture and good shape. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing sweet pumpkin puffed snack comprises the steps of: preparing powder with intrinsic yellow color and flavor of sweet pumpkin through low temperature decompression drying or freeze-drying by cutting the washed sweet pumpkin; blending the sweet pumpkin powder with sweet potato starch and adding water; molding the mixture; drying a mold; and puffing the dried mixture.
