PURPOSE: A light emitting element and a light unit including the same are provided to prevent the generation of abnormal colors or color stains by reducing the difference of color between light emitting diodes. CONSTITUTION: A cavity(22) including an opening is formed on the upper side of a package body(20). A first light emitting diode(31) emits light with a first main peak in a first wavelength range of color. A second light emitting diode(32) emits light with a second main peak in the first wavelength range of color. A plurality of lead electrodes(23, 24) is in connection with either of the first light emitting diode or the second light emitting diode using wires on the package body.
