PURPOSE: A high voltage generating apparatus operating method and a high voltage generating apparatus thereof are provided to drastically reduce the ripple of the pumped voltage by variably controlling the level of a clock signal. CONSTITUTION: A clock driver(100) generates a first clock signal(Φ) and a second clock signal(/Φ) which have opposite phases by using a main clock. A charge pump part(200) pumps the input voltage(VDD) according to a first clock signal and a second clock signal. The charge pump part comprises a plurality of pumping blocks(220, 230).
