PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling a broadcast of the same are provided to additionally set an individual broadcast control environment corresponding to the content of each broadcast, thereby outputting broadcast content corresponding to the individual broadcast control environment. CONSTITUTION: A user input unit(130) selects broadcast content. A control unit(180) sets an individual broadcast control environment about the selected broadcast content. A wireless communication unit(110) receives a broadcast signal corresponding to the selected broadcast content. An output unit(150) outputs the received broadcast signal under the set broadcast control environment. The broadcast control environment is separately set from a basic broadcast control environment for the entire broadcast content.
