PURPOSE: A composition containing gene delivery system having an ADC(arginine decarboxylase)-coding nucleotide sequence for improving the viability or proliferation ability of stem cells is provided. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving viability and the proliferation ability of stem cells contains a gene delivery system having an ADC-coding nucleotide of sequence number 1. The gene delivery system is a retrovirus. The stem cells are pluripotent stem cells. The viability and proliferation ability of stem cells is improved by transfecting the gene delivery system to the stem cells.
