PURPOSE: An SID tag reader device and an authentication method for using a direct contact method are provided to improve recognition ratio and security ratio by including a direct contact method between the SID tag and the reader. CONSTITUTION: An SID(Security IDentification) tag stores a sensor measurement value of an ID intrinsic of warranty data. An SID reader(30) includes a display unit(30a), a power supply unit and a process unit(30b). The display unit is connected to an SID tag in a direct contact method. The process unit includes a sensor unit, a security unit, a memory and a control unit.
