PURPOSE: A voltage regulator of an AC generator for a vehicle is provided to improve the cooling efficiency by cooling the side of a cooling fin through cooling air flowing along a ventilation path between cooling fins. CONSTITUTION: A voltage regulator comprises a circuit unit and a cooling member. The cooling member is contacted with the circuit unit to cool the circuit unit. The cooling member is comprised of a first cooling plate(72) and a second cooling plate(73). The first cooling plate has the same cross section in generation and process directions. The second cooling plate has the same cross section as the first cooling plate. The cross section of a cooling fin(72a) of the first cooling plate faces the ventilation path formed by cooling fins(73a).
