Connector for a profile rail

The connector (1) has a clamp (15) engaged behind an undercut longitudinal groove (29) and projected in a support (11), where a profile rail (28) turns toward the clamp. A base body (2) includes a sliding surface (12) for the profile rail, where the sliding surface faces toward the clamp. A clamping jaw (3) is arranged in the support of the base body, and is moved parallel to the support. The clamping jaw overlaps the sliding surface that is viewed perpendicular to the support, and is tensioned with tensioning devices (5, 6) in a direction of the support.
