The method involves manufacturing an outlet workpiece in a continuous casting method, and manufacturing a profiled strand section (102) from metal alloy e.g. tool steel, case-hardened steel or heat-treated steel, by using the outlet workpiece in a cold drawing method, where a profile of the section corresponds to a lever. The lever is manufactured through separation of sections (104, 106) of the strand section by a cutting or non-cutting method.
