One or more light emitting means 6, for example LEDs, are connected to positive and negative poles of a battery 2, through conductors 8,8A and are placed on the surface of a housing 4 of the battery 2. The light emitting means may be miniature or film LEDs. The light emitting means 6 are use to indicate the residual energy of the battery 2. A switch (30, fig 2) may be provided. |
