FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: alloy contains carbon, manganese, silica, aluminium and iron at the following component ratio, wt %: carbon ëñ 2, manganese 8 - 14, silica ëñ 1.5, aluminium ëñ 0.08, iron and inevitable impurities are the rest. Alloy has increased resistance to damage in active carbon-containing media at temperatures of 573 -1173 K owing to no undesired metastable carbide phases leading to the process of spontaneous conversion of metal to powder. ^ EFFECT: manufacturing parts and equipment operating in active carbon containing media at increased temperatures. ^ 1 ex |
