The brake disk (1) has a friction ring arrangement (2) with a friction ring (4,5) and a pot (3) that is connected with the friction ring arrangement. The pot is arranged in a coaxial manner. Connecting surfaces (10,15), which are arranged at the friction ring arrangement. The friction ring arrangement and the pot are directed in axial direction, and are connected by joining area (18) that is produced by friction welding. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a brake disk.
